On Saturday, August 31, Ryan Emenaker successfully defended his dissertation "Overturning Judicial Review" to complete his Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science from Brown University. He is now working to publish his dissertation as a book with a major academic publisher.
This accomplishment required a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication. I attached three of Dr. Emenaker’s academic papers to this blog article: Pinning Down the Constitution: An Interactive Way to Teach Congress's Power, Federalism, and Constitutional Interpretation; Constitutional Interpretation and Congressional Overrides: Changing Trends in Court-Congress Relations; and Judicial Review of the Voting Rights Act (2006): The Court Should Bail-Out.
I also want to mention that Dr. Emenaker participated on a panel by the American Political Science Association (APSA) about "Getting a Job at a Teaching Oriented Institution”. Dr. Emenaker was the only representative selected by the APSA to discuss what it means to teach at a community college.
Again, congratulations to our Dr. Ryan Emenaker.
