Our outreach team is doing a wonderful job helping to increase enrollment, persistence and retention. Here’s just a glimpse of what the Outreach Team has accomplished over the last month:

•     They recently partnered with our friends at Humboldt County Office of Education to complete the “I’ve Been Admitted to College” event.
•    They developed and coordinated a campus visit of more than 1200 middle-school students.  Students came to CR campus and had an education based presentation, a campus tour, the a one hour classroom experience with some of our outstanding faculty.
•    The Outreach Team also had the pleasure of participating in the Soroptimists of Humboldt County College and Career fair, promoting education and post-secondary learning to women.

The team is currently involved with helping high school seniors from all our surrounding schools apply for CR, sign up for Placement testing, and help organize Orientations. This coming Saturday the CR Outreach Team will host a table at the Humboldt Math Festival and on Saturday, April 30^th they will be visiting HSU for College Access fair.
