I am very pleased and proud to share that our Enrollment Services/Financial Aid department received an American Council on Education (ACE) award for 2021 from BankMobile as “leading one of the most efficient disbursement programs in the country!”  The criteria for the award include:

• At least 90% of all refunds during the period January 1 – November 1, 2021 are disbursed electronically; and
• At least 40% of all students, regardless of financial aid eligibility, complete the refund selection process.

Thanks to the outstanding leadership of Rianne Connor, Dean of Enrollment Services, and the hardworking staff of our Financial Aid team we met the criteria for the award. From January 1, 2021 through November 1, 2021 our department processed 12,367 disbursements through the BankMobile Disbursement platform and 92.71% of those disbursements were delivered electronically. Thank you to Elisa Abelleira, Robert Christman, Anna Duffy, Matt Gilliland, Hart Mendenhall, Michael Murphy, Eric Naslund, Courtney Sousa, and Taryn Whitaker.

As Associate Vice President of Student Success Dr. Crystal Morse stated "This work is not only valuable, but exceptional for our students who are able to receive their financial aid funds faster as a result."
