Situated within one of the most active small-town theater scenes in the nation, College of the Redwoods' small but vibrant Drama program is fortunate to benefit from the contributions of several prominent local theater personalities. Among C.R.'s Drama offerings are an annual Drama production class (Drama 26), an annual Music Theatre production class (Drama 34), and Field Experience in Drama (Drama 38), an innovative course that allows students to earn college credits while being apprenticed to a local theater.
