We want you to be successful in your online courses, and the technology shouldn't get in the way. As a first step, browse the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to see if we've already answered your question. Among the many questions answered there are things such as:

For help with issues relating to Canvas, such as how to use various tools and features of the system, contact Reno Giovannetti in the Distance Education office (see contacts at the bottom of this page) during normal business hours, 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

CR Technical Support
CR technical support can help you with issues regarding your passwords for Canvas or WebAdvisor and issues with your mycr.redwoods.edu email. (Please be aware that any questions about course materials, such as understanding assignments and tests, are not technical difficulties and should be addressed by your Instructor. Use Canvas to send a question to your instructor by clicking the Help button in the lower left corner of the Canvas dashboard.
- WebAdvisor is the online registration system used for registration and class schedules

- Canvas is the Learning Management System used here at CR. Instructors can use Canvas to provide syllabus, calendar, grade and assignment information online.

- Student email accounts are provided by Google Services. All CR communications, including academic deadlines, financial aid information, application status, Canvas notifications, and Password reset responses will be sent to your student email. All student email accounts begin with your WebAdvisor username, and end with @mycr.redwoods.edu
