New World of Work (NWoW) is pleased to offer a 21st Century Employability Skills Instructor Training in partnership with College of the Redwoods. Community college faculty and staff are encouraged to attend along with their regional partners in K-12, adult education, workforce development, and community based organizations. The training is best suited to practitioners who wish to incorporate employability skills curriculum in their courses or workshops delivered directly to learners. This includes, but is not limited to, CTE faculty and Deans, Work-based Learning Coordinators, Adult Education Providers, Counselors, and High School Educators.
New World of Work offers curriculum and resources to help educators prepare students for the 21st Century workplace. The two-day training provides an overview of all 20 lesson modules, video content, data collection templates, 21st Century Skills Badging, and offers tips on facilitation strategies. The training is fast paced, interactive, and allows instructors time to practice through group teach-backs. Participants who complete the training will earn a non-credit Certificate for Curriculum and Instruction in New World 21st Century Skills Modules at the end of Day 2.
