There's been significant discussion about the Board's decision to entertain offers to sell our Garberville site. I submitted a letter to a few of the Southern Humboldt news outlets (KMUD, Redwoods Times, and Humboldt Independent) that speaks to the decision to entertain offers for our Garberville site and explains the surplus/sale process as outlined in Education and Government Code.  It's important that the community know the rationale behind the decision and the process we'll use moving forward.
