Board Member
First and foremost, Jessica is a mom, auntie and grandma. Jessica is an enrolled member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe and a descendant of the Standing Rock Sioux and Yurok Tribes.
Jessica currently supports her Tribe by serving as the Secretary of the Hoopa Valley Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and the Vice-Chairperson of the Hoopa Public Utilities District Board. Jessica had previously served the Hoopa Valley Tribe for 21 years in the Medical Field-Administrative Capacity. Jessica is the owner of K’ida:yche’ Creations (Native Regalia and Arts) small business.
Jessica has an Associate of Arts Degree from College of the Redwoods as well as a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Humboldt in Liberal Studies Elementary Education, Native American Studies and American Indian Education.
She serves to promote and be a part of the future generations' education building, goals and endeavors of each student.
