Documents that are REQUIRED as part of the application packet:
- Application
- Valid CA Driver's License
- DMV Driving Record
- Certified Medical Exam
- Class A Learner's Permit
- Controlled Substances and Alcohol Policy Signed
- Release Information Form
- Negative Drug Screening results
- Anticipated Funding Source (on application)
Important dates to remember:
•07/31/2026: Completed Application Packet Due
Incomplete application packets will not be eligible for the lottery.
Submit completed application with all documents in one email to ace@redwood.edu.
• 08/03/2026: Lottery Drawing
You will be notified of your number after it is completed.
• 08/06/2026: Registration and payment Due
• 08/07/2026: Mandatory Orientation 5:00pm, 527 D St., Eureka
Approixmate Program Costs
- Program: $4500.00
- Class A Permit Test Fee; $95.00
- Drug Screen: $125.00
- Certifed Medical Examiner's Report: $100.00 - $200.00
Approximate Total Truck Driving Program Costs: $4785.00 - $4950.00
