Truck Driving Training Program

Fall 2026 Information

 

Documents that are REQUIRED as part of the application packet:

  1. Application 
  2. Valid CA Driver's License
  3. DMV Driving Record
  4. Certified Medical Exam
  5. Class A Learner's Permit
  6. Controlled Substances and Alcohol Policy Signed
  7. Release Information Form
  8. Negative Drug Screening results 
  9. Anticipated Funding Source (on application)

Important dates to remember:

•07/31/2026: Completed Application Packet Due
             Incomplete application packets will not be eligible for the lottery.
             Submit completed application with all documents in one email to ace@redwood.edu.
• 08/03/2026: Lottery Drawing
            You will be notified of your number after it is completed.
08/06/2026: Registration and payment Due
08/07/2026: Mandatory Orientation 5:00pm, 527 D St., Eureka


Approixmate Program Costs

  • Program: $4500.00
  • Class A Permit Test Fee;  $95.00
  • Drug Screen: $125.00
  • Certifed Medical Examiner's Report: $100.00 - $200.00
     Approximate Total Truck Driving Program Costs: $4785.00 - $4950.00
