Low and No Cost Textbook Courses

Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) Courses

This means the course either:

• Does not have a textbook.
• Has a textbook, which is available for FREE!

ZTC courses may have a printed option available in the bookstore and may still have a material fee. Some ZTC courses may also have a publisher textbook you can purchase as another choice, but ZTC courses are required to provide at least one free option. Students must be able to be successful in the class if choosing the ZTC option.

Low Textbook Cost (LTC) Courses

This means the total cost for textbooks for this course is under $40.

LTC may include the choice of a textbook under $40 or a more expensive option. Students must be able to be successful in the class if choosing the LTC option. NOTE: your course may still have a materials fee, even if it is a Low Textbook Cost course.
