Web Services

The Web Team consists of CR's Web Designer, in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications staff.

The Web Team is responsible for the design, markup, display, and accessibility of web pages hosted on the CR  website (www.redwoods.edu domain). This includes managing the homepage, core pages, and Division, Department, Committee, Other Group, and Faculty websites that use the standard design templates.

The Web Team and the IT Department work together to manage the Ohlone College website. The Web Team manages the "front end", while the "back end" web server hardware, software, and domain services are managed by the IT Department's systems and network personnel.

The CR Web Team offers a variety of services to support the College, its faculty, and staff in maintaining our official website. If you have any questions about our work, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Our services include:

  • Homepage Management: We manage content and features on the CR  homepage, such as registration information, highlights, and the rotating events list.

  • Core Website Management: We oversee content and features on essential "core" pages, including the A-Z Index.

  • Website Design & Development: We manage standard design templates, stylesheets, and script files used across the College website.

  • Department & Group Websites: We manage websites for divisions, departments, committees, and other College groups.

  • Faculty Profile Websites: We manage faculty profile websites (excluding student course materials) using standard design templates. (Please refer to the Web Team Client List for more details.)

  • Events Calendar Administration: We manage and administer the web-based Events Calendar, including adding, updating, and removing events.

  • Official Document Publication: We post meeting agendas and minutes, as well as publish electronic document packets, for the Board of Trustees, College Council, and other College committees upon request.

  • Semester & Annual Updates:

    • Semester Basis: We update various College websites with information from each semester's printed Class Schedule.

    • Annual Basis: We post the annual Catalog PDF files and update related College websites with information from the current year's Catalog.

  • Curriculum & Program Updates: We regularly review and update the Associate Degrees and Certificates webpage, as well as Department and Program websites, using information from the current year's Curriculum Guides and Catalog.

And much more!
