College of the Redwoods Softball Not Competing in the 2025 Season

College of the Redwoods softball will not compete in the 2025 season due to injuries and medical clearance issues over the semester break, leaving the team without enough active players. Off-season practices and instruction will continue, and current team members will retain their eligibility. The program plans to return for the 2025-2026 academic year.

 

“Our athletic teams have seen a lot of success over time, and none of it would be possible without the support of our alumni, donors, fans, coaches, and student-athletes,” said CR President Keith Flamer. “The administration remains committed to supporting all our teams and student-athletes, and I look forward to next year.”
