College of the Redwoods Housing

College of the Redwoods Residence Halls offers students the opportunity to live in a welcoming, diverse communityon the Eureka Campus. Residents enjoy supportive on-site staff, evening access to the gym, on-site laundry, and free admission to CR events, all within a close-knit residential environment. Living in the residence halls provides a comfortable space to relax, be yourself, and stay connected to campus resources that support your academic and personal success.

Basic Needs Center  

The College of the Redwoods Basic Needs Center supports students experiencing housing insecurity by connecting them to campus, local, and regional partners. Our Wellness Coordinators provide personalized guidance to help students navigate available resources and maintain housing stability while pursuing their education.

Basic Needs Emergency and Hardship Grants

The Basic Needs Emergency and Hardship Grants provide financial assistance to students facing unexpected crises that threaten their housing stability. These funds can help cover urgent expenses such as rent, security deposits, and utility bills while students work toward more stable housing solutions. By reducing immediate financial stress, the grants allow students to remain focused on their education during challenging circumstances. The program is designed to be flexible, responsive, and centered on supporting students’ well-being and academic persistence.
