Life-Changing Impact

Certified Nursing Assistants provide care to patients in acute and skilled nursing settings.

The Certified Nursing Assistant program is a one-semester course - HO 100 Basic Patient Care - which prepares the participant for California State Certification. 

College of the Redwoods is a testing site for the  Certified Nursing Assistant Training and Assessment Program (NATAP) and tests can be scheduled through Credentia.com. To become a Certified Nursing Assistant you must successfully complete the NATAP Exam.
