Emergency Grants
The Basic Needs Center provides hardship grants that offer temporary financial assistance to students experiencing housing instability or other significant emergencies that may impact their ability to continue their education. These grants are designed to help students maintain safe and stable living conditions by providing one-time financial support to prevent eviction, address homelessness, cover emergency expenses, and meet other critical basic needs. Basic Needs Housing and Emergency Grants are reserved for students with documented financial emergencies and are not intended to serve as scholarships or general financial assistance.
In Spring 2026, the Basic Needs Grant Program gave our 115 grants totaling over $130,000.
