- If your financial aid exceeds your charges, you may be eligible for a refund to cover additional expenses like books and supplies.

- College of the Redwoods uses BankMobile Disbursements for delivering refunds.

Paying Your Bill
- Billing: The Business Office bills charges such as tuition, fees, and housing/meal plans to your student account.
- Paying the Difference: If financial aid does not cover the full amount, you must pay the remaining balance.
- Payment Options: There are multiple ways to pay your bill, including setting up a payment plan.
- Avoiding Class Drops: Be mindful of Drop for Non-Payment dates and consider a payment plan if your financial aid disbursement is delayed.
Payment Methods
Students may apply for a California Community College Promise Grant, which can waive the majority of the registration fees. If a student is awarded a California Community College Promise Grant prior to registration, then the portion of fees that are covered by the California Community College Promise Grant will be waived at the time of registration, leaving only the uncovered portion to be paid by the student. If a student is awarded a California Community College Promise Grant after they register for classes, it can take up to a week for the waiver to apply to the student account.
If you owe money to the college (dorm fees, tuition, health or activity fees, etc.) all funds will be applied to that debt first. The remaining balance, if any, will be disbursed to you as a financial aid refund.
