Life Safety

Purpose

The mission of the Life Safety Committee is to support the District through assuring that policies and plans promote a healthy and safe environment for our students, faculty and staff.  The committee stays informed on Federal and State laws and regulations to ensure the District maintains compliance.  The committee evaluates reports of hazards and accidents and makes appropriate recommendations to the President/Superintendent to reasonably mitigate these hazards.  The committee communicates with the campus community to keep members well informed of safety issues, as well as facilitate training when and where appropriate to improve overall quality of life on campus.
