Facilities Planning
College of the Redwoods created the Facilities Master Plan, which guides development of the College's campuses for the next ten years. It was an update of the 2019 Facilities Master Plan. It is founded on the 2022-2032 Educational Master Plan. Some of the issues that are addressed in the plan include:
- Best use of existing space for changing needs
- Collaboration spaces to work with our educational and community partners
- Spaces to support Student Life
- Replacement of outdated facilities
- Use of outdoor areas for learning, culture, and recreation

IMPROVE ACCESS TO LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS
Support student success by improving access to modern, flexible, and multi-modal learning
facilities.
ENHANCE STUDENT LIFE
Encourage students to engage with their community by providing attractive and comfortable
spaces for collegiate life.
SUPPORT FACULTY/STAFF
Provide space for collaboration among faculty, staff and students.
ROLE MODEL SUSTAINABILITY
Develop facilities that support the College's role as a leader in Sustainability in
education, operations and construction.
ENABLE SEAMLESS TECHNOLOGY
Develop facilities that enhance to ability of students and employees to learn and
work in-person and online.

Membership Terms of Service
